GLAZING specialist, McMullen Facades is set to bring over 100 jobs to the area with the opening of a new state-of-the-art manufacturing plant.
The new factory at Mahon Road, Portadown is three times the size of McMullen’s current base outside Moira.
Already a major employer in the local area, McMullen is recruiting across a number of disciplines to provide essential support to its thriving order book of projects across the UK.
The new facility also brings additional investment in machinery, automation and handling equipment helping to increase capacity and production.
Specialising in the design manufacture, and installation of specialist unitised building facades, the company is enjoying particular success in the London high-rise residential and commercial office market as well as securing projects as part of the creation of the ‘Northern Powerhouse’ in Northern England.
McMullen Facades managing director Ronnie Mills commented; “This is a really exciting time for McMullen Facades both in terms of the work that we are doing and the clients that we are working with.

“So much so that we have now outgrown our current manufacturing facility and will soon be moving to a much larger factory in Portadown through partnership with the landlord Turkingtons, creating a number of new jobs.
